Eric Jennings · About

Meet Eric.

Eric builds brands and the businesses behind them — in fashion, lifestyle, hospitality, and the consumer categories where growth, complexity, and brand clarity converge. He built his career inside Saks Fifth Avenue, Peerless Clothing, Hickey Freeman, Hugo Boss, and Giorgio Armani, and now leads brand transformation work for fashion, luxury, and lifestyle businesses. An early adopter of generative AI, he has integrated AI-driven workflows into marketing operations since 2020.

THE STRATEGIST

Eric’s work centers on one objective: helping companies clarify how they position themselves, show up in the market, and turn brand expression into commercial performance.

Brand Leadership & Enterprise Experience
Eric has held senior roles at some of the most recognized names in American fashion and retail. At Saks Fifth Avenue, he served as Vice President and Fashion Director for Menswear, Home, and Beauty across three major divisions representing a combined $685M+ business. He guided seasonal vision, brand partnerships, and omnichannel customer experience at enterprise scale.

Global Brands, Licensing & Omnichannel Growth
At Peerless Clothing — the largest manufacturer of men's tailored clothing in North America — he served as Vice President, Marketing & Creative Director for a global multi-brand portfolio of 25+ licensed labels, including Calvin Klein, Lauren, and Tommy Hilfiger, directing a multi-disciplinary team across design, advertising, PR, and digital.

As Global Brand Director at Hickey Freeman, he led a $10M wholesale, retail, and e-commerce business with a cross-functional team, expanding distribution and rebuilding brand marketing, advertising, visual identity, and digital voice. Earlier, he built U.S. wholesale leadership at Hugo Boss and began his career in luxury at Giorgio Armani.

Advisory, Customer Experience & Brand Transformation
Today, through Eric Jennings Creative, he partners with CEOs and owners on full-scope brand transformation — positioning, identity, CX, and go-to-market — for clients like NYC's iconic Century 21 and City Nights Hospitality luxury venues. He also advises private clients on personal wardrobe strategy at the executive level.

AI, Modern Marketing & Operational Strategy

Eric began introducing AI-driven workflows into fashion marketing operations well before generative AI became mainstream. Today, he applies AI across brand strategy, creative production, content workflows, and consumer research to move faster, sharpen decision-making, and extend the impact of lean teams. Eric believes the real leverage still comes from judgment, taste, and how consistently a brand shows up for customers.

Executive Perspective

Eric is known for operating at the intersection of creative judgment and commercial thinking — aligning leadership teams, refining positioning, and helping brands evolve with clarity. In addition to full-time executive roles, he takes on a limited number of advisory engagements each year.
