Objective
Drive full-price sales during the traditionally quiet month of June. Create something different from traditional 'Dads and Grads' promotions. Make a fashion-forward campaign tapping into the #menswear movement to attract a new type of customer.
Actions
Partnered with Pitti Uomo, an iconic Italian menswear show known for 'sprezzatura' style. Secured funding and support from the Italian Trade Agency. Negotiated artist partnership details while in Tokyo for fashion week. Created an exquisite catalog, directed social media campaign, hosted VIP cocktail party. Directed windows and in-store visuals for all Saks stores nationwide.
Results
Drove sales up 11% from the previous year. Improved full-price margins. Reached a broader, more fashion-forward audience. Inspired younger male customers to engage with the Saks men's department.
