Objectives
My objective with the Peerless Clothing Fall 2021 trend forecast was to deliver a roadmap for the design and merchandising teams to develop new products for the upcoming season. My goal was to ensure the teams received the forecast with sufficient lead times to produce and go to market. In addition, I wanted to provide the sales team and retailers with an understanding of relevant new items and colors to offer their customers.
Actions
Researched upcoming trends from numerous resources to create seasonal forecasts to designers, merchandisers, executive team, and key stakeholders both internally and externally. Presented the forecast one year before the collections arrived in stores. Included relevant current news to put trends into cultural context.
Results
Integrated the significant forecast trends into over twenty-five global brands, offering on-trend newness and essential items relevant for each brand.
